Bobbing Poppies
Here we observe in this large poppy field
The thin grass in which the poppies reside
Through their black casing their seeds lie kneeled
Ready to catch in the sweet blooming night
The poppy stems hold erect in the gusts
Flaunting voluptuous tunnels and valleys
Did you notice the petals? Reddened lust?
Coupled passerby sulk amidst the tease...
The poppy mimics our dark desire
The desire to create...creating...
It is this quick fiery passion we seek to aspire
The poppy displays our perverse waking
Does your twisted heart, like mine, start thudding
At the sight of bulging poppies bobbing?
