The Storms of the Heart
Certain serenity has befallen thee,
You have bound me under your starry glow.
This I have felt while you lay beside me,
For your grace has engulfed me—it forbids me to go.
The waves of your serenity dance across my being,
And as the storms of your heart pound the shores,
The flowers of hope trust in the shelter you bring.
This trust is the key that has opened our doors.
As you lay on my shoulder I could not but think,
The sails we have raised for the winds to blow
Shall allow us to strengthen our weather-torn link,
Yes, we will travel and take our fate slow.
As you lay beside me and think the above,
Worry not my dear, for you are showered in love.
