My Danger
The amount you can love is dangerous
Like a new baby running around the house
But danger can be very contagious
Especially when it creeps like a mouse
Sneaks up behind you and kisses your throat
Holds you like you’ve never been held before
Danger shows his heart to you through a note
Entrapping you like a fish to a lure
You think you are in control, but you’re not
He has something over you, so damn sweet
That you can’t let him go—your sense is shot
Now you can’t feel anything but the sheet
I love you, oh I wish it were so true
That deep in your heart, you could love me too.
