The Child
They fell from the black sky like shooting stars.
They were beautiful themselves in plain white.
In each hand, they all held many jars.
They moved oh so gracefully in the night.
Curiosity got the best of me.
As they walked silently, I followed close.
One swatted at the invisible bee.
The girl holding five jars stood out the most.
She was very tiny like a child.
Though she was small, she had the most grace.
She stopped and stared at me, her gaze wild.
She spoke, " Great suffering and pain you face"
Then I was attacked, made to hold still.
My soul was sucked into a jar to fill.
