Through our hold of reality we gain morality.

A kiss on the cheek so student and sweet,

Moment of heaven from an angels lips.

Thy Love, 'tis all my soul wishes of thee.

Giveth thy golden heart or have mine rip,

Forsooth tis true I am in love with thee.

Thy luminescence shames the lurid sun,

the vane sun who foist himself most sheen.

Hand him a blind eye and every word shun.

He is but an ember fighting for life,

thou art the torch who engulfs his poor gleam.

Rise against all opposed and glare you light,

Piece this mad world and sew it's jagged seams.

I bequeath my heart to thee henceforth on.

Ye shall haunt my dreams forever and anon.

The author's comments:
I was inspired to write this poem after working with one of the astounding works of William Shakespeare "Romeo and Juliet". His approach and techniques were respected by me highly but form was to die for! So one day wile inspired I decided to write this old english sonnet. I hope you enjoy/enjoyed it!
