Mankind's Crime
The world today is nothing like its past
The trees have fallen, the forest in ruin
Our seas polluted and drying up fast
If we do not stop the end may be soon
Smog and gas fill our skies and hurt our lungs
From money-hungry corporations greed
Global warming traps the heat of the sun
As our ozone continues to retreat
Ice is melting with record temperatures
Animals forced from natural habitats
These creatures suffer before they mature
This is not fiction but rather is fact
We can save this planet, we have the time
But we must act now and stop mankind’s crime.
