Losing A Friend
When this school year came around,
I went to one school and my best friend went to the other.
This is where everything went down;
Although we promised this would never bother one another.
Soon enough bitter words were exchanged through the phone,
And tears began to fall when there was tension.
Her cold, deathly stare made me feel alone,
And I felt like the pain would never lessen.
Although my hope subsided, I tried
But she didn’t want anything to do with me
It hurt inside
But I knew I should let her be.
Although I suffered regret of my actions
I am a stronger and more independent person because this happened.
