The Epitome of Heartbreak
You drew me just like a moth to a flame,
Luring me in with your false, glowing light.
Whirlwind of confusion, girl with no name,
Drawn into a dangerous, deadly fight.
The lift is vanquished, the candle blown out.
Cold feelings controlling my soul are back.
Alone, unexpectedly knocked about
I wasn't braced, ready for your attack.
Whispers in the back penetrate my mind-
Your poison is spreading much too quickly.
Running away blind, struggling to find
A way out of the trap you set for me.
I got away, but realized too late-
You are the epitome of heartbreak.
