Its not that I didn’t want to be with you, you see
I just wasn’t sure I liked you for the reasons you liked me

I know exactly what you're into, and sadly I am not.
The first time should be special, not a set long shot
I couldn’t be sure if you were into me for the right reasons
Or if we started a relationship, that it would last four seasons

I admire you for your mind, your dedication and looks
And that I know you actually have potential in the books
You're not like other people from the same status as you
I find you to be something more, with so much greater due

Your potential and dedication is so great to see
It's difficult to find someone who knows what they want to be
I feel that we could talk for hours, I feel we share a mind
That if we came together it wouldn't be a waste of time

But you have to understand, that I'm there strictly for you
