For my father
This is for my father.
The things you used to say to me when I was young, made me the man I am today. The things you told me when I was scared, made me as fearless as you. The stories you told me when I laid down for bed at night, made me wise, for the road ahead. The love you showed others, made me realize there is still good in this world. The times you messed up, were the times I knew everyone made mistakes, but could still turn it around. You are more than my father. You are my best friend. I regret every time I didn’t believe you, but yet you forgave me. There is only one greater word than love, and that is dad, to a little boy like me.
Thank you dad, I love you
