Winter's Bliss
The snow liquefies upon my jacket.
Red neon sings glows in the distance.
Chocolates with boxes. The baker pack’s it.
A peaceful silence from over the fence.
The church bells begin to ring silent night.
My leather jacket continues to squeak.
The red neon sign is now to my right.
I flow past a bar where nobody speaks.
In this season, every war will now cease.
I enter my door. I trot down the hall.
The Christmas party with all and their niece.
This is the season that is after fall.
With sparkling eyes, I look at my tree.
I am overjoyed that this time can be.
