Rain, Rain, Go Away
It’s Wet and Cold
In storms or sprinkles
It’s always bold
And gives me wrinkles
Puddles on the grass, in the roads
Mud at every step
Children jumping ‘round them like toads
Wearing boots in prep
O, how I’ve dreamed
Of a beach with sunny waves
But I’m here cleaning my car I just cleaned
Complaining how the rain has ruined my day
But not until night when I’m alone and its quiet
Do I secretly miss its cultivating riot
