Unborn Angel
Cradled in her mother’s arms, she is safe,
She is unbroken.
Her smile is a warm from the sun that kisses her cheek.
Her golden hair dances.
She is unknown to the world she lives in.
She wonders what it takes to give in.
But now her world has diminished.
The sun has tarnished.
Her mother’s arms snap.
She begins to fall.
Down to bottom-less trap.
She bleeds her last call.
She is expelled. Exposed. Flushed down a toilet of lies.
All because of some selfish cry.
