Otters
Velvety and sleek it swims like a fish
Gliding through water it speeds along
Its cunningness is something to relish
Their elegance will last them all life long
Munching on urchins found under the waves
Eating until its stomach is content
Banishing all of its other food craves
And off it sped, frolicking as it went
Dipping and dashing, with others it plays
When the day is done, it goes to its den
Residing in small hidden inlet bays
Only to go out and explore again
Inhabiting both fresh and salt water
There is not another like the otter
