Why I'm Not Like Them
Sometimes the world will look at me,
And they may not truly understand,
Why I choose to be, what I choose to be,
And why I lend a helping hand.
But they don’t fully get the concept,
As to why I’m not like them,
I have someone to live for,
In fact, I live for Him.
I hope His light will shine through me,
So bright, and very clear,
So all the world can see,
Just how I hold Him near.
He is my shield, my strength, my light;
For all those dark, and dreary nights.
