Why does the wind feel compelled to blow?
Rustling the way that life's meant to go
Shifting and changing and always rearranging
The script of how life lives
How does the rain fall on time?
Beginning every sadness, trailing ever crime
Needing no cue, drenching hearts, thought through
And cheating when the sun gives
When will the snow come again?
Glowing with innocence, defeating sin
Frowning and hiding, falling and gliding
Unexpected as the wind.
