Sonnet # 1
Without you my life is a crushing storm
And your emerald eyes are a port to rest
This love and your eyes have me so very torn
Your silent words are the deadlist jest
Like a life preserve it keeps me a float
Sometimes when the darkest clouds roll over head
I feel like theres a huge hole in my coat
Like an open wound leaving me for dead
But I know saving me is not your dream
And you're done your best to guide me to shore
I must have lost track of the lighthouse's beam
No more will I awaken to the storm's roar
In despair and agony I lie here
No more shall I shed another black tear
