Surrounded By You
You are so much more than my whole world
You are my stars, my planets, my universe
My love, you are the pure heavans unfurled
Your beauty is nature, stunningly diverse
The bright sun, the cool moon, the stars in space
White swans, smooth stones, fish in a lake
They are all jealous of your perfect grace
One look, and the butterflies in me start to shake
I have reason to be taut around you
For, you control my whole globe and all in it
With three words, you dry rain and leave skies blue
You call me your world, too, perfectly moonlit
So let's rule our worlds together, in harmony
I want to spend eternity with you, darling

This piece was actually an English assignment inspired by Shakespeare, but I really enjoyed writing it. Love is such a large concept, and exploring different aspects of it is one of my favorite things to write about :)
