Finale
There’s a beauty in every ending
Where long journeys finally wrap
And the action stays descending
And the only thing that closes isn’t just a flap
So there’s an ending to everything
For example, to people like you and me
Where the beauty that they bring is tied up with string
And they, in the great beyond, can be free
Even if it’s a terrible thing, like a bad mood or song
There’s a reason we say, “This too shall pass”
As the bad won’t last for all too long
And it will likely leave with some class
Yet, one of the most beautiful things - creative work - has a quirk that I seem to be proving
A piece of art is never finished, it just stops moving.
