I don’t want to leave,
But I don’t have a choice.
I don’t want to be just another voice.

So look to the stars,
Because I am looking too.
Look to Orion like we always do.

I don’t want to leave,
But I don’t have a choice.
I don’t want to be just another boy.

So look to the stars,
Because I am looking too.
Look to Orion like we always do.

Warm breath left her lips,
Victim to the cold winter air,
Like water to flame.
Eyes shinning with starlight, dim.
Covered only by her windblown hair.

This is my last kiss farewell,
I’ll see you again if it all goes well.
Under Orion, the clear night sky,
In my arms forever be mine.

I don’t want to leave,
But I don’t have a choice.
I don’t want to be just another voice.

So look to the stars,
Because I am looking too.
Look to Orion like we always do.

Wrapped in a coat that fell,
All the way to her bare skinned knees.
Shivering with eyes to the ground,
One last tug before he leaves her side, Farewell.

This is time to pull away,
For us to go our separate ways.
Under Orion, the clear night sky,
In my eyes forever be mine.

I was inspired to write this because of my current love life situation, and from past experiences. I hope that other people will be able to relate with this poem, and hopefully enjoy it.
