Dreamer
It's a fair day of July,
Sat in my seat then you passed by,
I tried so hard to hold my breath,
Oh you don't know what I felt.
I was admiring you in a distance,
knowing that I don't stand a chance,
'Cause you're already with a girl,
Who seems to you like your whole world.
Oh, I got this little crush on you,
And no matter what I do,
You're the one thing in my mind, and oh my,
My mind is too hard to find.
'Cuz it's always flying,
It's like I'm dreaming,
Every time I see your face,
This stupid heart can't help but race,
And then I'm flying,
Or like dreaming,
But I know I won't stand a chance,
On this pathetic dreamer's romance.
I could've made a pass,
When we seat each other next to class,
But I'd just content myself,
You'd never be mine, that I'll just accept.
Enchanted by your smile,
I've been staring at you for quite a while,
And then you turned your head,
And our eyes met,
And oh, I just wanna say,
Oh, I got this little crush on you,
And no matter what I do,
You're the one thing in my mind, and oh my,
My mind is too hard to find.
'Cuz it's always flying,
It's like I'm dreaming,
Every time I see your face,
This stupid heart can't help but race,
And then I'm flying,
Or like dreaming,
But I know I won't stand a chance,
On this pathetic dreamer's romance.
I can't stop these butterflies,
But I know I'd be stupid if I think,
We'd be together, you and I.
