"INchoate"
I ran
towards
beauty
yet I,
found myself
contemplating,
instead the
ugly complexity
of the universe
embracing that
unpolished, nitty-gritty
"It is"
for what
It truly is

The defnite of inchoate adj means undeveoped, flawed, or unfinished. For much of my life, I have considered myself to be a perfectionist; always focusing on keeping my outward appearance, personal possessions, and traits of myself perfect and orderly. However, as a high school senior, focused on college and reaching major milestones in my life, I have learned to let certain things go. Most importantly, I have grasped the ability to accept nature and situations/people for what they truly are.
