Puppet
The more I think, the more it hurts
And everything I do makes it a whole lot worse
Try to ignore it, try to act fine
But blending in with others, no, I’m not that kind
The freedom I had seems to drain away
The way I live my life just isn’t okay
I just don’t know how to get what I want
My conflicted feelings, they always haunt
I’m a lost lonely puppet
And I’m stuck to the strings
I try to run away from all the terrifying things
I feel stuck, ensnared
And utterly trapped
They are the dog and I am the cat
The whole world spins but I seemed to have stopped
Many people’s minds become completely corrupt
I don’t know if I should just give in
To give up my thoughts, though would be a sin
The government, the FBI are watching our lives
Making sure their evil plans can still arise
School system, Television, Product Marketing
Each of us the victim of their brainwash targeting
I’m a lost lonely puppet
And I’m stuck to the strings
I try to run away from all the terrifying things
I feel stuck, ensnared
And utterly trapped
They are the dog and I am the cat
I’m a lost lonely puppet
And if I cut the strings
I’ll still be trapped by the world’s kings
I’ll always be trapped
Always be trapped
By society’s evil Kings
