Good Girl
I’m done being good
Done playing nice
I’m sick and tired of
Being that girl
Watching and giving advice
Cause I see you gettin her number
Watch you talkin her up
You said you think that she shallow
But beneath those blond layers I know
There’s so much more
She flutter her lashes and giggles
Then wraps you around
Her little finger
She’s playin dress up
With you as her doll
She’s playin the part of the princess
And you’re her prince charming
At least that’s what you think
I’m the girl on the sidelines
Trying to keep up
Helpless to watch as you
Break plans with me
I’m done being good
Done playing nice
I’m sick and tired of
Being that girl
Watching and giving advice
Tonight I’ll stand up
Fight for my dues
Nothing to lose
Cause my hearts on my sleeve
I can test myself
I won’t hide no more
Cause I’m done being
The girl in the corner
Done being shy
Cause that won’t get you anywhere
So I’ll stand up
Without you by my side
Scream my name
Sing it into the sky
Till the whole world knows
I’m done being good
Done playing nice
I’m sick and tired of
Being that girl
Watching and giving advice
So I’m gonna just be me
She can’t stop this
Not tonight
