Never Smart Enough
As a kid
I worked harder to be
Where I am today
Studied longer
Sat in front of the class
To out smart the others
Make my parents proud of me
But now
Now that I'm older
Adults are looking
Looking over my shoulder
Making mistakes
Not okay with them
My brain doesn't process the way
They wanted it too
Last of three
Wanted me
Me to be perfect
that's not me
According to them I could
Never be A.D.D
Don't want it to be an excuse
Just want the truth
Is that to much to ask
