Remember September
This isn't what I asked for
I never wanted to slip away
You are all I needed
Now there's nothing left to say
Because I think I might be to late
I think I'm to late
To say sorry and that I love you
To say I miss you and I want you back
I'm so sorry for ever leaving
If it was my choice I would've stayed
I hope you don't hate me for this
There are so many things left unsaid
Do you ever think about me?
I think about you every single day
I wonder what you could be doing and if I'm ever on your mind
Do you remember last September when we held each other close?
I said I'd never let you go
Yet I'm the one who moved away
You said we would last forever
But now we're no longer because I never had the chance to say "I love you" or to tell you how much you meant to me
I miss you is all I can say
Into the empty air and into this empty space
I hate myself for ever leaving you and in the back of my mind all I can see is your face
And it's slowly fading away
