I'm Not Sorry
It seems that I have just a shred of too much dignity
It seems that you only want a pretty face to see
And I’m sorry but I won’t do that for you
I’m got too much self respect that I don’t wanna lose
I’m not comfortable leaving all my morals behind
You should go looking because I’m sure there’s a girl who won’t mind
But I won’t be silenced by a pretty boy with too many words
I’m breaking away from the herd of girls who line up to be turned down
I’m not sorry; no I’m not sorry, I’m not sorry
That I want someone who respects me
I’m not sorry, no I’m not sorry, I won’t be sorry
For a boy sees me as an opportunity
It seems that you want a girl who hangs on every word you say
It seems that I don’t cut it at the end of the day
But I won’t sit here letting you judge me
On the aspects of my life you don’t need to see
I’m not comfortable letting you in this far
And it’s sad to think that that is all we are
But I won’t be forced down by a pretty boy with too many words
I’m breaking away from your herd of minions waiting for their turn in line
I’m not sorry; no I’m not sorry, I’m not sorry
That I want someone who respects me
I’m not sorry, no I’m not sorry, I won’t be sorry
For a boy sees me as an opportunity
And I see now that all I am is side show
Looking for me when you get bored
But I’m so much more then what you give me credit for
I don’t want to listen I can barely breathe when
You tell me I’m just one of a kind
Do you tell that to all of the girls that you find?
I’m not sorry; no I’m not sorry, I’m not sorry
That I want someone who respects me
I’m not sorry, no I’m not sorry, I won’t be sorry
For a boy sees me as an anything but what I want
I’m not a responsibility, I am not a liability, I am not an opportunity
For some know it all with a beautiful smile
