perched on the highest branch of mine
you the sparrow and I the pine
As you descend into the clouds,
my roots remain planted in shakey ground
and the winter let out its grey sigh
his wings turned and replied
"only time will heal your wounds"
Well I hope repair is on his way soon
my roots in shakey ground
don't worry soon you'll be found
and lifted to the sky; Its not why we die
but, what you've made of this life
