People Cry
I follow where the people go
shivering in December snow
and the sky is grey and the pay is low
and so they cry
I heard them holler and rejoice
they lift their hands and lift their voice
but really there's no other choice then to cry
People cry and nobody hears
and no one stops to see their tears
when theirs anger outside and you look to the sky
nobody's there
and you ask yourself why
then they cry
There they are looking for the key
shadows falling over me
and still nobody stops to see
them cry
But they laugh cause the world is just a game
and they laugh cause there's finally no more blame
same old story all the same
when they cry
People cry and nobody hears
and no one stops to see their tears
when there's anger outside and you look to the sky
nobody's there and you ask yourself why
the worlds a game and people cry
