"Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited, imagination encircles the world."

Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Will you catch me when I fall?
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Do you know me at all?

Everyday the mirror is my enemy,
Showing me how the world perceives me.
It doesn’t know my personality,
And neither do they.
Judged by my looks, my hair, my clothes,
Inner beauty never gets a chance.
The world’s just one big mirror,
Only seeing the outside.

Don’t judge a book by its cover,
Sometimes a smile planted on a face ain’t real,
And contrary to what most believe, I’m not perfect.
I’m falling apart inside.
But that’s something the mirror can’t see,
The mirror of the world,
The eyes of the world,
They don’t look past what they see at first glance,
They don’t care.

And maybe someday this world will see
That there’s more to us than what they believe.
They gotta open their eyes, open their mind,
They gotta see the outside isn’t all there is.
Nobody gives a second chance these days,
Nobody seems to care.
Nothing’s worse than feeling you’re not worth anything,
Nothing’s worse than living in this mirror.

Don’t judge a book by its cover,
Sometimes a smile planted on a face ain’t real,
And contrary to what most believe, I’m not perfect.
I’m falling apart inside.
But that’s something the mirror can’t see,
The mirror of the world,
The eyes of the world,
They don’t look past what they see at first glance,
They don’t care.

Some people try to hide but what they don’t know,
Is the world isn’t trying to find them.
They try to cover up, try to lie low,
But it’s not like the world is looking.
Most people only care about themselves and their friends,
Beyond that is none of their concern.
If they’re looking in a mirror when they look in your eyes,
Then they’re not gonna try.

Don’t judge a book by its cover,
Sometimes a smile planted on a face ain’t real,
And contrary to what most believe, I’m not perfect.
I’m falling apart inside.
But that’s something the mirror can’t see,
The mirror of the world,
The eyes of the world,
They don’t look past what they see at first glance,
They don’t care.

I’m guilty of it too, jumping to conclusions,
But I try to steer clear, I don’t wanna be like that.
I don’t wanna be like the world,
Cold hearted and vain, don’t care about anything,
It’s a tough thing to do.
I don’t wanna stand out, but I wanna do the right thing,
And I’ve learned you can’t do both at the same time,
And yeah, I’m trying, I’m trying to learn that.

Don’t judge a book by its cover,
Sometimes a smile planted on a face ain’t real,
And contrary to what most believe, I’m not perfect.
I’m falling apart inside.
But that’s something the mirror can’t see,
The mirror of the world,
The eyes of the world,
They don’t look past what they see at first glance,
They don’t care.

The mirror of the world, the eyes of the world,
They don’t look past what they see at first glance,
They don’t care.

&quot;The seat of knowledge is in the head, of wisdom, in the heart.&quot;~William Hazlitt<br /> &quot;Be yourself, everyone else is taken.&quot;

This is beautifully written, and I'd love to hear this song played one day. Great job. Please, if you get the chance, read and critique my newest article called "Keeping Faith" thanks a bunch!
