Too good to be true
She always says yes
it's never a maybe
i love when she holds me close
and calls me baby
When i tell her i love her
i can see her eyes glow
as we lay in her yard
waist deep in snow
We talk about the future
and how we'll run away
leave our families behind
and be together every day
we decide to do it
we'll run away tomorrow
to end all our pain
and end all our sorrow
as we lay under the stars
i begin to feel weak
i pull her close to my chest
and kiss her on the cheek
she looks up and smiles
and we both begin to blush
i hold her even tighter
as our lips start to touch
It's too good to be true
i start to feel alive
this unbelievable feeling
no word can describe
but the feeling starts to fade
what is going on?
what happened to my girl?
where did i go wrong?
Tears run down my face
When i wake to the alarm
It was all just a dream
And she was never in my arms...
