The Goodbye

Its still out and the road is black, and all of you are just minted into soldiers carried out with honor. Do you even know what you are fighting for?(fighting for) lay me to rest, this is the end. all this comes with a greater cost.

lay the defenses down...
roaming the empty streets of this golden town.
a smile on your lips, nothing ever felt so wrong.
you hide your fear to seem strong.
its a bullet to the heart, and this last moment never lasted so long.

I never ran, miles away the trumpets sound. the earth tremble as they march for my death. Autumn burns red, and roses fall in the light. do you remember then?(memories don't end)lay me to rest this is my final cry. this is the greatest cost.

lay the defenses down...
roaming the empty streets of this golden town.
a smile on your lips, nothing ever felt so wrong.
you hide your fear to seem strong.
its a bullet to the heart, and this last moment never lasted so long.

you have shaped me into another mint, but now i have 2 holes and you'll let me slip through the cracks. there is no turning back...

lay the defenses down...
roaming the empty streets of this golden town.
a smile on your lips, nothing ever felt so wrong.
you hide your fear to seem strong.
its a bullet to the heart, and this last moment never lasted so long.

this is the final breath,a smile on your lips. lay the defenses down. hide your fear, but don't run... this moment never lasted so long. i've been laid to rest... do you even know what you are fighting for? memories roam this golden town.my final breath...

This song was written to describe my life and at frist I didn't know that. One month later I realized it was exactly what I was going through.
