Crashing
I swallowed my pride
I took it all in
But every single day
I prayed it someday would end
Shout a little louder baby
Apologize once more
We’re coming to the end of it
The life I once adored
Baby you were all I needed
All I have wanted was you
Your touch
Your mind
Your everything
Then one day it came crashing down on me
Walking hand in hand
And us kissing in the dark
Memories now haunting me
In my heart you left your mark
Your anger started dominating
A monster uncontrolled
I tried to be there
Stick it out
But your love was turning cold
Baby you were all I needed
All I ever wanted was you
Your love
Your smell
You everything
Then one day it came crashing down on me
Pictures burned to ashes
Tears running uncontrolled
I couldn’t stay there longer
Baby you did me so wrong
You were all I needed
Everything I wanted you had
Love
Trust
Tenderness
But one day you just crashed it down on me
