The Sidekick
Time to save the world!
The hero said
Sidekick,
“Make my breakfast’
Make my bed”

While the hero sat
Fixing his hair,
The sidekick fought,
Kicking here and there

The hero waved
To all of his fans
While the sidekick kept fighting
And sucked it up like a man

The hero sat in the limo
The sidekick drove
To the hero’s mansion
To the sidekick’s grove
Well….his shack on the side of the grove

While the hero was getting
Fitted for his suit, how lean
The sidekick wore his gym uniform
Hmm….smells clean…..

Then one day the sidekick was sick
He called the hero
The hero threw a fit
Oh no…he would have to fight for himself

The sidekick turned on the TV
And watched the hero’s funeral
And waved to the crowd below his window

I agree. I do think that the sidekick is a bit out of charactar at the end - I don't like to think the sidekick (the REAL hero) would do that.

But I really liked it, it was good!

This is SO amazing. It made me laugh in the beginning because it was so true and at the end it was so ironic and amazing. It said so much about a lot of things - even if you just meant it to be about a hero and a sidekick - it touched a lot of different levels. Great job :)

The endings a bit sad, but i like how you protrayed the sidekick more as a hero and the hero just a pushy person.
