A light in the dark
It's time to make my mark
Time to get up on stage
And act my age
A shimmer of hope
So clean like soap
It'll all be okay
At least for today
A shimmer from the moon
Like a nice, safe cocoon
A nice summer breeze
To set me at ease
Everything is fine
Until the light can no longer shine
