Cows arise in the barn
Cows eat chow in the green field
Cows lay on the straw

The farmer milks cows
The udders are full of milk
The cows are now happy

The coyotes wait
The farmer drives by and sees
The coyotes run

The barn cats are funny
The barn cats look like big cows
The cats like to play

The cows broke the fence
The farmer will fix it right now
The fence is fixed now

The farmer takes the hay
The farmer likes his tractor
It lifts the hay bales

The day is over
He goes to some ice tea
His wife cooks him dinner

It was a good day
The cows are now fast asleep
Goodnight to y’all now

This piece of poetry was for a school project and I decided to see if I could win.

This poem gives a nice sense of imagery, but keep in mind, a haiku is usually 3 lines with a 5-7-5 syllable form.
