Flatline

May 31, 2018

I want to write,
to say what I mean
To have the words
come alive,
would be everything words could not describe
But the words
The words,
they don't come alive when I write
Instead,
they remain flat
As flat as the Earth
was once thought to be
Flat, and
Lifeless
Is all there is to see

This is a great poem, @Emerald26! I think every writer has experienced this!

Wow, that's relatable!
