What moves you?

Is it the sound of the ocean,
the cry of your child,
the sweet nothings he whispers in your ear?

Do the ring of a minor chord,
the beat of a drum,
the harmony between two
move you?

Are you moved by
hurt?
joy?
fear?

How about the sight of the skyline,
the energy of rush hour,
the sound of the streets…
do they move you?

Is it the sight of sunrise at dawn,
somber sunsets,
painted yellow and pink and purple?

Is it the feel of his hand,
her kiss,
their hug?

What moves you?
