Growing up on the coast
Waking up
To sunrises over the beach
Reflecting light off the ocean
Like a mirror of the universe
Salty air
Sandy feet
And great tans people would kill for
Flowers on every windowsill
Thin appartments forming a canyon
On either side
Of the street.
Images, visions
Of a life I've never known
And yet. . .
I can picture it so clearly
Destiny?
