Broken Lover
A love so broken one cannot see
The hatred he holds within himself
The title engraved on the envelope
My Name.
Burned into his memory
A candle flickering
The last flame to be seen
Can't anyone see?
The damage done to a boy
Created by a girl he once claimed to love
Yet what is love?
Tattered torn hopes he once held
Slowely slipping through his fingers
Like sand the beach washed onto shore
The night they had went to watch
the sunset fading away
along with the love she had gave him.
