Burning MAG
Fires burn bitterly as they’re trying
to escape their binding wax cage
to a rhythm they’re daintily dancing
in such perfect peaceful rage
is what artists stay up trying
to capture on a slightly torn page
scorching is its solemn duty
dangerous, deadly and frantic
leaving ashes, burned by beauty
its attack is gruesomely romantic
the world is silent, it is drowned out
when fire and gasoline are mated
and I know without a sliver of a doubt
when I’m gone, I will be cremated
