I Might be a Lucky Guy
I’m here every day,
Physically,
But never,
Mentally.
You talk,
My body,
Responds,
But what I
Really want
To say is in
My head.
I won’t say it
Because I’m
Scared of confrontation.
You aren’t that’s
Why you are outgoing
And have more than
Three friends.
I’m a lucky guy,
I guess I’m new here
And day one
A woman bugged me
But not in a bad way,
We hit it off, but
I didn’t tell her this
Because that would
Involve talking, which
I’m not good at.
One day I may say
What’s on my mind,
But for now, I’ll sit
Here and contemplate
What to say to this
Beautiful woman sitting
Next to me.
Like I said I’m a lucky guy.
