Fears
Fears
When I was a child
I feared the dark
And monsters under my bed
And the dog’s loud bark
When I was a child
I loved the color pink
And the sound of guitar
And going to the ice rink
Life changed
Hearts broke
Life was lost
And I learned what tears were
My father
My mother
My brother
My lover
When I grow up
I will love the dark
And the monsters in my head
And the devil’s dogs bark

I had a tough life growing up and I still do. I feel that writing helps me get it out and get through things.
