Souls Forever, Forever Lost

Rusted over and drained of all life
Lined with crust, cold to the touch,
The deep hum of a dying heater,
Creaking the gate of lost souls.
Chlorine brushing onto slimy fish below,
Broken surfaces lined with weeds
Soft and wet sand layering the bottom
Seeping into the abyss of cracks.
