My Honesty
My Honesty,
My honesty is quiet. My honesty is loud.
My honesty is selfish. My honesty is down.
My honesty is trod upon like stones in a river.
Without as much of a thought as to who is the giver.
My honesty is quiet now but it doesn't want to be.
My honesty is caged now deep inside of me.
Because my honesty is a frown.
My honesty is something that I don’t like to see
Because it never seems to do anything for me.
But when I lie in my bed at night, I secretly let my honesty free
In my notebooks where no one can see, my honesty can be loud.
My honesty can be seen.
My honesty is quiet. My honesty waits for a time when someone just might ask
what’s it to me?
