The Thinker
I'm not much of a writer. With my words, I cannot change worlds and move mountains like my predecessors did. I cannot cause people to pause in their steps, to put a hold on this thing- this fast paced, ever moving, never stopping thing- called life. I cannot cause them to look at the world in wonder, acknowledging that there is so much more to look at than the superficial. I cannot make them see the little things that make our planet rotate, the little things- things such as love and hope and peace- abstract things that lift people's faces toward the sun. I cannot make them stop and listen. I cannot make them stop and think. I'm not much of a writer. I'm more of a thinker. I am overwhelmed by my thought processes. For when I think aloud, worlds do change and mountains do move.
