Butterflies - a new look
I step carefully into the glass room,
and my worst nightmares are coming true.
Something buzzes past me,
it’s wings are as bright as a summer's day.
My heart fluttered in my chest,
my hands are sweating profusely.
My eyes widen as big as the moon,
as one creature lands on my arm.
Thoughts stirring in my brain,
how do I save myself?
My feet are glued to the ground,
my body won’t let me move.
I look down to see the horror,
but there is only a delicate and bright butterfly.
It flourishes with its multicolored wings,
how could I be scared of it?
As I step out of the glass room,
a new feeling emerges.
The majestic butterfly flew past me once again,
my body is filled with joy.
