My gaze slowly scans your canvas
memorizing every curve and climb
Hypnotized by golden rings, of blissful bright sunshine
Captured between copper canyons
Entranced in kind brown eyes
Two tender lips
Confide.
Voices float with ease, like butterflies on summer’s breeze
Your sun-kissed whispers soothe my soul
Raging fires turned to coal
Time continues marching on singing it’s eternal song
Our hearts slow and beat as one
