The Bottom
Its when we're at the bottom
That it's the most dark.
When we're clawing our way back to the top
That we discover all of our footholds have disappeared.
It's when he leaves
That you discover how alone you really are.
Because he masked all of it.
So you frantically try to find something that fills the hole he left.
And the worst part is
He isn't even gone at all.
He's there, but untouchable.
He still tells you about his day,
But he no longer says he loves you.
He's become untouchable because he's pushed you so far away that you're scrambling to find something to use to float on.
But there's nothing there.
And you're left to sink in the dark sea, going to the bottom once again.

This is the first... Written thing that I've wrote (and finished) in months...March is the last time that I wrote anything that I thought could possibly be worth while.
