United in ring and silver craft,
Engraved inside and out,
A solid sterling with gold plating.
Little did they know the bond
Would slip off, their
Certificate of Authenticity
Grave-bound in its guarantee.
The stronger the strand,
The far more braided the design,
An elegant strength of family,
Broken
In it’s pitiful
Greed
